Turn Key
Turn Key’ installation package

Extrusion System Solutions
‘Turn Key’ refers to the finished work where the customer can ‘literally’ turn the key and the machine will start, all installation works have been fully completed and the line has been fully commissioned. This is the best solution for the client, he has the least to do in this package, simply run the line when it has been handed over to his production team.
We are able to carry out a more simple installation where the machine is lined, levelled and connected to all site services, but the commissioning phase is carried out by the companies engineering department or the Original Equipment Manufacturer, which ever best suits the client.
One thing to bear in mind is that any machine being installed into a new plant or an existing plant must comply with all current Health and Safety legislation, so must be fitted with the current standard of safety circuits, emergency stops, pull cord and guarding systems, the client is responsible for all Health and Safety survey, audit and assessments for the new (to the factory) equipment.
All resulting work can be carried out by our competent team during the installation phase, which helps stop any confusion during the commissioning phase.
Greenwood Technical Services has carried out many installations over the 13 years it has been in business, more than 50 Extrusion and Co-Extrusion lines, many Thermoformers and Presses, Paper and Card folding machines also CNC Staplers, Tool Centres and gluing machines for the timber POD Room Building industry.
Some lines have had in excess of 5,000 cable connections and a total assembled machine length of 150 meters, some individual machines have required up to 10 forty foot articulated trucks to move them, others have required extending low loader units to carry their weight, height and width.
We have moved machines all over Europe and the UK without incident.
